The first game of the season for the defending Champion Year 11 team took us to West Dulwich, and straight into the 1st round of the PlayStation Cup against The Charter School Dulwich.

In fair conditions FCBS started positively scoring in our first attack, with a few neat interchanges releasing Liam, with a one on one with the goalkeeper, with the expected outcome, 1-0 FCBS.
However, credit to our opponents who pulled the game level within minutes with a good goal after a momentary lapse in concentration on our back line.
With persistent Fulham pressure, Yuusuf added his name to the score sheet with a thunderous strike in only our second meaningful attack of the game, shortly followed by Liam making his mark again showing frightening speed taking on Charter's defenders and scoring from the tightest of angles. 3-1 FCBS.

Perhaps playing overly confident at times we gave the ball away deep within our own half again, just a few minutes before the break, Charter again took the opportunity to keep their Cup campaign alive scoring and pulling back to 3-2 FCBS.
In an extraordinary tit for tat-like exchange, Liam claimed his hat-trick with a stylish solo effort ending the half 4-2 FCBS.

With an equally positive start to the second half from Charter, they were duly rewarded with a well crafted headed goal from a corner kick.
Now clearly sensing they could get a result from the game and playing good football they were later awarded a penalty for their efforts to level the game 4-4.
FCBS were not to be written off, Liam again finding the net on the end of a crossed ball to head home a sensational 4th goal of the game. 5-4 FCBS.
Fulham College powered on to score the 6th and final goal in this 10 goal thriller, a blistering 20yard top corner strike leaving a stranded goalkeeper from team captain Troy.
Final score:
